The largest fleshwater aquarium in the world, the Aquarium of the Pantanal, which is being built in Mato Grosso do Sul, in the city of Campo Grande, promises big surprises for residents and tourists. Besides the numerous attractions that it will offer, diving and snorkeling are the big news. In the nursery main you can practice diving activities and in the external tanks will be allowed snorkeling. The construction of the Aquarium started in May 14, 2011, and its prediction of inauguration it is in 2013, on the 36th anniversary of the creation of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, on January 1. There are 6.6 million liters of freshwater and 263 animals species of native with flora of Pantanal. The Aquarium of the Pantanal is located high in the Avenue Afonso Pena, in front of the Parque das Nações Indígenas.
