Do you know the Pantanal? If you still don`t know you can start to plan to 2012. The Portal Terra has published a list of 50 must see destinations to visit in 2012, and the Pantanal is one of five Brazilian destinations selected. An enxcerpt: "The Pantanal has nearly 200 000 km ², of which most in Brazil, but also belongs to Bolivia and Paraguay. This wilderness of the states of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul has a large biodiversity with animals like jaguars painted, anteaters and macaws. Tourists visiting the Pantanal delight piranha hunting among alligators, horseback riding and doing tours and bike 4 x 4.
